 Waterdown Ontario Spring Swap Meet & Car Show May 28th & 29th 2011

The good weather is simply not with us this spring. It’s cold and wet. Warm days have been sparse. I did manage to get my 1987 Corvette convertible out on a few of those nice days. I even took my 80 year old father in law for a short spin, although I do not think getting in and out of the Corvette was easy for him.

If you have a normal life, car building and time in the shop is always second to everything else that goes on in the household. Gardens to work in, fruit trees to trim, grass to cut, to name a few of the chores. Then there is the day job that pays the bills and subsidizes the cost of sending two children to University. Oh well, life is good, and staying positive is good for the mind. What doesn`t get done today can always be left for tomorrow or the next day.

It`s back to the summer swap meets and car shows. I find that they are relaxing and great way to get your mind onto the projects in the shop.

The Waterdown Ontario Spring Swap Meet & Car Show is always a great event to attend. This spring the car show and swap meet will be on May 28th & 29th 2011. The swap meet and car show is located at: Joe Sams’ Park, 752 Center Road, Waterdown, Ontario.

Let’s hope the weather will be good for this outdoor event. In the past, there have been well over 1000 cars on display and numerous vendors selling just about anything and everything.
